Selection is on the basis of academic performance, work experience, completion of the Certificate II in Hospitality, and personal qualities. The AIHS awards scholarships partial tuition fee scholarships, valued at up to A$10,000.
Scholarships are currently on offer for intakes in 2007 (February, April, July and September): there are no specific deadlines, however students must apply at the time of application.

Bristol University in United Kingdom offers Master Scholarships for International Students. Current University of Bristol masters students are not eligible to apply. Applicants who defer entry must apply for the academic year in which their studies will start. There are 10 Scholarships worth £2000 each for a single programme of study. The amount will be deducted directly from tuition fees.
